Under the expert guidance of Tisha from Van Horn Sweets, you’ll decorate a charming (and delicious!) set of cookies that are sure to impress. Tisha will provide all the essentials—cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your masterpieces home—but the key ingredient is you! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned baker, this hands-on class offers a great mix of fun, creativity, and, of course, sweet treats.

This class is perfect for everyone aged 10 and up, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Want to keep the fun going? Purchase a take-home kit at the event to enjoy with friends or family who couldn’t make it and show off the skills you learned in class.

Each participant must have a ticket and will receive their own set of cookies to decorate. Don’t miss out on this perfect opportunity to make sweet memories!

Join the Yoga Lab for a 60-minute Power Yoga class in the Barrel Room at DESTIHL Brewery. 

Power Yoga is a practice of building strength, flexibility, and endurance in your physical body.   After class, enjoy a complimentary coffee bar & chef-inspired energy bites by DESTIHL. 

The price is $15. Advance booking is required. We invite you to stay for brunch in the Beer Hall as well! Don't forget to bring your own mat!

Join us for an exclusive dinner in the Barrel Room that begins with a guided tour of the production brewery, where guests will receive a sample of Privyet Imperial Stout (the base beer for Dosvidanya). The tour is followed by a welcome beertail, starters in the Barrel Room, and four thoughtfully crafted courses created by Senior Executive Chef Jacob Sartin and his talented team. Each course will be paired with a Dosvidanya Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout variant, highlighting this award-winning beer. Guests who purchased tickets to our Dosvidanya Day release party on Saturday, February 22nd, can pick up their beer allotments and purchase additional bottles at the dinner.

Dosvidanya is a renowned Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, earning multiple accolades over the years at the Great American Beer Festival® and (FoBAB) Festival of Wood and Barrel-Aged Beer, in addition to being named a “Best Beer in Illinois” by ‘Craft Beer and Brewing Magazine.’

During Dosvidanya Day, attendees get exclusive access to sample and purchase our brewery-only Dosvidanya variants and walk through our state-of-the-art production space. 

Guests can enjoy pop-up bar locations throughout the event and be entertained by local live music in our Barrel Room. Several event ticket packages will be available, including different Dosvidanya variants, the ability to bring a guest, and the chance to buy additional bottles while supplies last. This private event, held in our production space and Barrel Room, is for individuals 21+ years of age with a valid ID. Ticket availability will be limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The Beer Hall will be open to the public during the event.

Find your inner peace with a unique themed yoga class at the Brewery! Instructor Nancy Nork will rev up your energy, then slow your soul in the Barrel Room with an hour of soothing yoga by candlelight to gently bridge one year into the next. Afterward, cool down with a refreshing post-class beverage on us. Plus, all participants will receive a hand-poured candle courtesy of Cedar & Scotch.

THE HENHOUSE PROWLERS ARE BLUEGRASS AMBASSADORS.

Founded two decades ago with the simple desire to play original and powerful bluegrass, this Chicago-bred quartet now finds themselves at the intersection of performance, diplomacy, and education.

Working with the U.S. State Department and under their own nonprofit, Bluegrass Ambassadors, the Prowlers have toured over 25 countries across the globe. The group's experiences with people and musicians across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East have shaped the band’s worldview and broadened the group’s direction towards bridging cultural gaps with music, educational programs, and workshops. Using traditional American music as a foundation, connecting folk music, customs, and history the world over, the Prowlers incorporate international elements into their already robust repertoire of unique traditional American music.

Whether playing live or presenting seminars, wherever they are, the Henhouse Prowlers find and spread the commonality we share as human beings through the universal language of music.
