FEATURING: LUNAR TICKS (Chicago, IL)
The band is influenced by the songwriting and studio experimentation of 90's and 2000's innovative Alternative/Indie rock bands like Wilco, My Morning Jacket, The Flaming Lips, Ween, Yo La Tengo, Pavement, and Dr. Dog, and fuses it with genre-bending, progressive musicality, and exploratory improvisations in the vein of The Grateful Dead, Phish, and Umphrey's McGee.
Each setlist is formed from their diverse and expansive song list of originals and covers; debuting new material at almost every show. Extended improvisational passages can turn on a dime or meditate and unfurl in unexpected ways. Lunar Ticks aim to create a unique and memorable experience every time they pick up their instruments.

What's better than Yoga with goats?? BABY Goats + Yoga with great beer! AND... Some of those babies will be donning their best jammies! Spring is the BEST time for those super-active baby goats. Enjoy libations & do Yoga (or not) with the baby goats and their mamas! Come for the animal therapy (or photo op) and nama-stay for the cool atmosphere that our brewery has to offer! Feel free to come in YOUR jammies, too, for the best photo-op EVER.
Session #1 - 11 am (Child Friendly Class)
Session #2 - 12 pm (Adult Class)
Session #3 - 1 pm (Adult Class) - Only added if the above sessions sell out.
What is Goats + Yoga like?
We will be out back at Destihl's Brewery and Beer Hall (in the same area they hold weddings). You'll come inside and check-in, sign a waiver, and get a wristband, a drink ticket, and then a drink. When it's time for your session to start, you'll set up your mats and get to meet the goats. Yep, you can bring your drinks into the yoga area! You will be given cups of treats to help persuade the goats to come to you. Some will be on top of you, and some rather watch you from afar or eat out of your hand. You can be as involved (or not) as you'd like. We can also strategically place the right goats on top of you for just the right selfie!
This is a VERY informal class! You are welcome to bring your yoga mat or a beach towel, which will be fine, too. (If you have a nice yoga mat, we highly suggest you bring a beach towel!) If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend. Just give us a heads-up! We recommend you nama-stay with your friends or significant other and make it a day here!
If you have additional questions, feel free to call Tara @ 217-899-4562 or email info@willowcityfarm.com. Most importantly, have a great time!

FEATURING: THE STEEPWATER BAND (Chicago, IL)
You should already know these songs. If the old saying about talent equaling success were true, then The Steepwater Band would already be a household name, rubbing shoulders with Aerosmith, Bad Company and other like-minded travelers in our collective Rock 'n Roll Fantasy. But that's not how things always work, and this band knows it and still leans into it, smiling, with everything in them, not for brass rings and marquees, but because they must! For them, the music life is a calling and not some stupid costume one puts on to shake loose gold, fame, and groupies. In a land of caricatures, it's striking to come face-to-face with the real thing.
Something primal lurks in their music, but always wrestling with emotions and stories that are everyday-ready ~ music at once strut-inducing sexy and brass knuckles honest, a sound evolved smartly & patiently through countless gigs, running the bulls whenever and wherever they've been welcomed since 1998. AC/DC once said, "If you got the dollar, we got the song / Just wanna boogie woogie all night long," and The Steepwater Band surely embodies this lip-smacking urge to get some in this mean old world, befitting the group's Chicago roots and their earthy understanding of crackling city blues.
The abiding, resounding passion inside this band is never in question. Dive into their seemingly endless catalog of songs just about anywhere, and the heart and muscle pumping away inside every track are palpable and present in a most pleasing way. Their sound is like a soundtrack for arm wrestling The Devil and then drinking shots with him 'til sunrise after you've pinned him down. Their songs bridge the miles between lovers, throw lines to brothers and sisters in need of some understanding and a spark that makes them shuffle, eyes closed, shaking off the day's heavy load, ready for another round because the right song by the right band made them feel they had enough fight left in them. That's the kind of band you're dealing with here, and they'll be doing this long after all the pretty boys, package acts, and pretenders have left the stage. - Dennis Cook

Join us on the brewery lawn for a FREE show featuring Chicago Farmer on our outdoor stage every Wednesday in June!
“I love Chicago Farmer’s singing and playing and songs, but it’s the intention behind the whole of his work that moves me to consider him the genuine heir to Arlo Guthrie or Ramblin’ Jack Elliott. He knows the shell game that goes on under folk music… which is sacred to me. Chicago Farmer is my brother; if you like me, you’ll love him.” - Todd Snider
“After a few listens to the record it becomes apparent that Chicago Farmer has a refreshingly firm grip on where he comes from. The songs are covered to the elbows in dirt from the fields and smell of the sweaty factory floors. If the Midwest is looking for a voice, the search is over.” - No Depression

FEATURING: INKTRAIL (Central, IL)
Inktrail is an instrumental trio from Central Illinois consisting of Ryan Nolan (Bass),John Ganser (Drums) and Tommy O'Donnell (Guitar). Each band member is involved with a long list of other original musical projects that range from DJ work, production, classic country, jazz, rock and alternative. These other musical endeavors inform Inkrail's overall approach. Their debut record is expected soon, and their dedication to writing material that is truly unique has been their overall goal. Ganser and O'Donnell have spent countless hours on stage and in the studio together in 1990's era stalwart alternative bands - the Something Brothers and the Spelunkers. Ryan Nolan is a walking encyclopedia of music and also spends time in the dynamic instrumental band - Disorganizer. Soaring guitar melodies, succinct and unique rhythm playing and a wide berth for improvisation is where Inktrail likes to live.
