Your $40 ticket includes step-by-step instruction, all candle-making supplies, and a complimentary beverage to enjoy during class. The guided portion of the class lasts about one hour, followed by additional time for your candle to set. While it cures, stick around to enjoy DESTIHL food and drinks with your group until your candle is ready to take home.

Backyard returns for their annual “Warm Yourself By the Tire Fire” winter show with special guest opener Aaron Kelly. BTF’s music rings with crisp guitar tones, tight harmonies and pointed lyrics. Longtime musical cohorts Edward David Anderson and Scott Tipping create the core vibe with skillful guitar work. Anderson’s brother, Matt, plays bass with new guy John Ganser on drums.

Known for infectious melodies & memorable messages, the veteran midwestern rockers were darlings of radio stations like Chicago’s WXRT-FM in the early 2000s, touring the US relentlessly before going on hiatus in 2011. Grammy Award-winning producer Steve Berlin of Los Lobos produced their critically acclaimed album, “Good To Be” and is on board to work with the band again in 2026.

Step into the western town of Dry Gulp for A Fistful of Hollers, a Wild West-themed murder mystery dinner set inside a lively saloon. You’re invited to a party hosted by Digger Deep, the town mortician, whose plan to drum up business includes inviting Nasty Nate, the local troublemaker. As expected, the night takes a deadly turn when someone is murdered, and legendary detective Squint Leastwood is on the case. With a cast of colorful characters like Fanny Dango, Wyatt Burp, and Messy James, every guest becomes a suspect, including you. Don’t forget to wear your boots, ’cause it’s gonna get pretty deep! Attendees must be 21+ with a valid ID.

Our Dosvidanya Day Release Party returns on Saturday, February 21st! Dosvidanya, our award-winning Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, has earned top honors at the Great American Beer Festival, the Festival of Wood and Barrel-Aged Beer, and recognition as a Best Beer in Illinois.

All 2026 Dosvidanya variants are available exclusively at this event and will not be distributed. Any remaining bottles will be sold later at both DESTIHL locations.

Attendees will explore our production space, sample four pre-selected variants at tasting stations, hang out in the Winner's Lounge featuring other award-winning DESTIHL beers, purchase additional variants and vintage bottles, and enjoy live music in the Barrel Room. Ticket options include VIP, General Admission, and GA plus guest packages.

This private, 21+ event takes place in our production brewery and Barrel Room. The Beer Hall will remain open to the public. Proxies may pick up orders with a valid ticket and ID.

Founded in 2013, Sunshine Daydream specializes in performing Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band music in a refreshing, high-energy, up-tempo style. They have played through hundreds of songs in the Grateful Dead repertoire over the years. You never know what you'll hear, and the sets are designed to please both Deadheads and casual listeners. The songs are performed as intended: high-energy, hard-hitting, and always danceable. Expect psychedelic and innovative jams as the band navigates the Grateful Dead repertoire and select covers by bands such as The Allman Brothers, Phish, Widespread Panic, and more. The band is based in Springfield, IL, and has gratefully enjoyed the support from the greater Illinois community and beyond.

Touring blues artist Travis Ried of the James Armstrong Band has teamed up with veteran Central Illinois musicians to deliver an authentic psychedelic Allman Brothers Band tribute. A regular performer at Buddy Guy’s Legends, the Red Rooster, and major blues festivals, Travis brings deep authenticity and fire to the stage. Together, the band delivers soulful vocals, intricate harmonized guitar leads, rock-solid rhythms, and fearless improvisation.
